PPL believes in investing in the training and development of our human capital. Our Quality Objective concerning our People is to “Develop the skills, expertise and knowledge of our workforce”. Besides sending its staff for a broad spectrum of short trade, technical and soft-skills courses, workshops and seminars, we also have an Employee Development Programme that offers scholarships and sponsorships to eligible and deserving employees. Scholarship awards provide full funding to successful candidates to pursue diploma or degree courses offered by local or foreign universities of good standing, whilst sponsorships granted provide up to 80% funding for employees who wish to further their education or improve their skills in diploma or degree courses relevant to the employee’s scope of work.
